I’m starting my barber collection at home. What do you recommend for a diy at home clipper? I really want to buy the magic clip cordless, and I also want to do my son’s hair
Very well Kris, but, it would of be of a big help a price range of the tools shown on this video. I think is the only thing missing on this video, other than that very well explained, informative, and straight to the point. Thanks…
Hey Kris, can you please recommend the bet and strongest clippers for my thick hair beard ? I need to treem it every two three weeks and regular trimmers cant cut my tough hairs, only stong clippers like oster 76 etc.
So I liked your wahls clippers so which one I sjould use for tough hairs beard? Thanks
best clippers for a shadow or buzz cut?
I got a detailer which is not written ( T- wide ) behind the blade but that is T-blade size and red body exactly like this
and also on/off switch is black plastic
is it normal ??!
Which one is the taper blade and which one is the fade blade I got confused….
Great explanations, Thank you!
Thank You Kris that was very informative.
I am a barber and i only use a comb and no.1 guard only..
Good information thanks trying learn how to fadesmyself
This was quite an interesting lecture. I think the Wahl five star detailer/liner is what I need for my beards and the corners of my ears. Can you give me the link to your clipper-over-comb tutorial? Keep the good work up!
My gf cuts my hair with Wahl Balding and I have to use 1.2 mm plastic adjuster on it. With out it cuts skin. When she tried to clean up neck without spacer I bled everywhere:)
I bought a whal designer and have a straight razor.. can those retailers be also for balding use? I am going to try and do my own hair once I had those guards I need and a shaver.. my hair is to successfully do a drop fade on myself it’s pretty hard for a starter but love your centennial bro💪🏽💪🏽 your video was nice and straight to the point love it!
get u some detachables
Can you give me some advice? I bought a pair of Andis Envy 66215,
I can’t get rid of the clatter. It is tolerable if the screw is
tightened fully but then the blade and the edge are squinty. My husband
says it snags his hair. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I tried to contact Andis but have had no response from them.
For beginners?? Those are ‘ professional clippers.
some of them are very sharp.. how the beginners use them directly
What’s the taper blades
Seniors and detailers not beginner clippers
nice clip kriss
Great review i love wahls but you right I guess I’m just so used to it
Are you also a chemist?
i love my Wahl Nornal Senior older model and Wahl 5 Star Detailer older model
i now use Wahl Cordless Designer and Wahl 8900
If I was blindfolded listening to you, I’d think Tim Tebow became a barber. You sound just like him.
I cut my son’s hair at home so i can save money. I have a pair of Wahl 5-Star Magic Clippers (#8451)…….it does the job pretty well but here’s my question. My wife and I both like our son’s hair short and when I say short I mean 1/16th to 1/32 of an inch away from bald. What I usually do is let his hair grow out to about 1/4 of an inch and cut it down pretty short.
I wanted to know if there are a pair of clippers I can use to bring his hair from say 1/8 of an inch to 1/32 of an inch…..the reason is because I want his hair to become too bushy before I start cutting it. As I said before I like to keep his hair short consistently. However, the clippers I currently have don’t allow me to take his hair from approximately 1/8 of an inch to 1/32 of an inch. Do I just let his hair keep growing out before I cut it or are there another pair of more precise clippers I can invest in?
I hope that made sense. Any input would be appreciated!
can somebody answer me please? there are universal attachable guards? I have a machine without the 1/2 guard, should I buy it from another brand?
Hey Kris! I’m going to start barber school soon. What should I get first?

Do you really need a balding clipper if you have a sharp trimmer, and an electric shaver?

I’m looking for something just to cut my own hair at home, so a good variety of guards, and just something that cuts well overall, any idea ?
What clippers do you recommend for bulk/evening hair?
I’d recommend Karmin T70
i have been cutting hair always have used cheap clippers file down the blades my self gave clean fades and art. i just need better tools im 21 been cutting hair since i was 9 but i cant find the 5 star shaver a good price
are you talking to a fan?
If the biggest guard I have available to me is a 1”is there a possible way to stack them or attach them to get a larger cut.(say like attach a 3/4 to a 1” and then a 1/4 to the 3/4 so you have 2”
Im learnig how to do fades with walmart clippers, i cut my own hair, and it comes out good, but its time to get me some wahl seniors!
Quick question bro…. besides the designs for the whal trimmer can you use it also for balding?
clippers get hot fast. the Andi’s outliners, what do u RE commend?
