Excellent review. Hope you do more of them. I just picked one of these up for my hair (white guy with short sides and back, a bit longer on top). The thing worked great with my limited skills. Agree with all your comments and yeah, a divided case is a great idea.

thanks for the review. I already picked up Wahl cordless but am looking at this kit for the guard set. the complete set of 8 guards costs more than this entire kit with 10 guards! I do recommend adding a trimmer to your new setup. these two corded look great if you can find them locally:

I bought the elite pro over a year and I can honestly say that thing does the job. I’m a barber and believe it or not, this is one of my go to machine.

If you’re looking for this model but with the left and right ear taper guards the model # is 79734. I just ordered mine on Best Buy for $64 total. Model # 79602 doesn’t include the ear guards. Hope this helps anyone.

I’ve had this machine since 2016. These are great all around clippers. I fade with this all of the time and you have to know the proper technique to blend (go long to short). I’ve cut long and short hair and if you make good use of the guard combs, you can cut great styles with it. You may be able to use it for trimming, but I use the Wahl T-Pro trimmers.
I bought these 5 days ago, and have the Wahl color coming in the mail. I"m amazed I can buy a kit with so many pieces for only 67 Canadian… It seems of such high quality… are these type of Units known to crap out after a couple years? Somethings not adding up, such quality for such a low price.

One of the best clipper reviews I have seen up today, congrats. With this pandemia I also started cutting my own hair with a Conair clipper (very reliable by the way) I had to retouch my sideburns, and I have enjoyed so much that decided to upgrade to this Wahl model Elite Pro clipper, it gets paid itself back after 2 or 3 cuts so it worth every penny and you also you develop a new skill, enjoy it while learning and save some money too. Thanks for sharing your experience and your video, very professional, I enjoyed it!

In my area almost impossible to find it and if you find one, it is 3 times more expensive. This is regard all clippers.

I use Wahl at home now. My stylist uses Wahl. They make good enough products. I find the corded products are more reliable. Good video!
