  3. Anirban Biswas on February 6, 2021 at 8:25 pm

Hey Celeste, your final result actually looks quite good, considering you did this for the first time. I ordered a Wahl clipper myself, today.

  4. John Chiluiza on February 6, 2021 at 8:26 pm

For your first time, doesn’t look bad just keep add it, you’ll get better over time, i started like that too 20 years later I’m a master at it Lol

I think you did a great job!. I’m 66 my barber a woman passed away after 25 years. She did beautiful work. I think you did a great job. Not a fan of the colored hair but you are making it work!! Recommendation-Instead of using the clippers in the back to give you an edge use a good safety razor I am a Gillette guy, Not the disposable, Use a mirror and like drawing a on paper. Thanks! Getting ready to try my first self cut!!

  7. Cbkae on February 6, 2021 at 8:30 pm

Sitting home in quarantine and watching tutorials on how to cut your hair. You did a great job and hopefully when I do mine next week, I won’t end up looking like Sinead O’Connor! (I have a lumpy head!) Lol! Got to go find my winter hats just in case! Lol! Great job!

  21. Fr0ggy On A Lily Pad on February 6, 2021 at 8:47 pm

My brother has Autism. He watches the video to get over his fear of getting his haircut. My dad has had the same cliiper set as you for years and years and he would share his head and my brother’s with it. He watched this after his last diy haircut in May 2018, and he watches this video non stop and shaved my dad’s head lol. My dad wanted him to do it anyway. I just wanted to say thank you for the video.

  22. Michael Kemp on February 6, 2021 at 8:47 pm

that noise is its new and you got no oil on the blades yet really bad for them doing that with no oil that noise is the motor straining to move the blades

  23. H M on February 6, 2021 at 8:49 pm

Don’t go to the barber. They may have coronavirus.

  24. Botanical Dawta' on February 6, 2021 at 8:49 pm

Great video and you did a fantastic job for your first time. I’m considering getting this clipper. During the pandemic I’ve started cutting my own hair and not doing to badly had a few compliments 😄 I find using the clippers downward, unless necessary, you have more control

  25. Saniel Chavan on February 6, 2021 at 8:49 pm

You work damn too good for one video 👍👍👍👍

  26. Riley Storm on February 6, 2021 at 8:50 pm

Never cut your hair ever again 😭🤮🤢

  27. On my on February 6, 2021 at 8:50 pm

    Is the clipper still working?

  28. daciadarling on February 6, 2021 at 8:53 pm

Keep at it, we get better with experience!

  29. Emily Shields on February 6, 2021 at 8:54 pm

Oil the blades before use and also adjust screw. Oil on top and both sides use small brush to spread oil. YouTube it

  30. Rebecca Fair on February 6, 2021 at 8:54 pm

I would use a mirror to help see where you’re cutting

  31. 525672ify on February 6, 2021 at 8:54 pm

Your hair is beautiful and colors right on!!

  32. Missi Martin on February 6, 2021 at 8:56 pm

You have to oil the blades.

  33. skoal22005 on February 6, 2021 at 8:57 pm

    I thought it looked great.

  34. chongarlett v on February 6, 2021 at 8:57 pm

  36. Khan Of Iravan on February 6, 2021 at 9:01 pm

Girl you need to capitalize on that taper lever to blend and taper properly… keep practicing and you’ll learn the craft

  37. Bilal Awan on February 6, 2021 at 9:02 pm

    clipper is pretty loud

  38. Eli Mendoza on February 6, 2021 at 9:03 pm

    GUARD!!!!

  39. J W. on February 6, 2021 at 9:04 pm

The thing about trying something out for the very first time, it’s never going to be great. The first time is a test run and experiment with a new tool and getting in the practice to become experience in hair cutting. So the first time it’s going to either be bad or okay. It’s putting in the time and work to get good at something which will come later. I thought the cut was good and should continue to practice with the clipper. You save tons of money as well as the convenience of cutting your own hair whenever you want. To me that’s a plus right there.

  40. alzathoth on February 6, 2021 at 9:04 pm

WOW! FANTASTIC JOB! did you use a mirror behind you? i want to cut my own hair but am chickenshit.

  41. kamuelalee on February 6, 2021 at 9:06 pm

Great job, thanks for this video. I’m in Coronavirus stay home mode. Bought the Wahl Color Pro and will try to give myself a fake U.S. Marine cut…real short. LOL

  42. h2bbuilt on February 6, 2021 at 9:07 pm

You need to add lube to the blades. Thats why you hear the difference in noise.

  43. OtakuGunsoNY on February 6, 2021 at 9:09 pm

heh its hard to cut your own hair xD I kinda don’t have another choice so I do snip a few inches off every now and then

  44. JOHN CONNOR on February 6, 2021 at 9:10 pm

La mía hace ruido cuando aflojo el tornillo de a lado, pero Corta mejor. Y si no hace ruido jala el cabello. Es algo natural de esa máquina?

  45. taxiguy reviews on February 6, 2021 at 9:16 pm

You have to tighten the power screw on the side

  46. Freddie Rankin on February 6, 2021 at 9:17 pm

Your haircut came out better than mine .. being 1st DIY .. also that knocking noise happens when the blade underneath the metal guard shifts .. it actually won’t cut hair … same thing happen to me .. so What I did , took two screws .. Phillips screwdriver ..re adjust both blade and guard .. brush and oil both blades I mentioned screw tight again both Phillips screws then on the side of clipper u will see plastic flat head screw .. before u tighten turn on clipper and tighten till it stops making knocking noise and try it .. will cut even better

  47. Brajesh kumaR on February 6, 2021 at 9:18 pm

  50. Fr0ggy On A Lily Pad on February 6, 2021 at 9:19 pm

I love your colour. The hair was already cool, but it still looks cool after you did it yourself. It almost looks like you went to a barber shop looks that good.
