My Big Secret… I’m Becoming A Barber!

I’m becoming a barber! I’ve been training to become a barber for the past 6 months. I’m really excited to see what my barber training will do for the men’s hair videos that I produce on this channel.
I’ve learned loads of new skills including how to skin fade, taper and create outlines.

Maybe one day I’ll have my own barbers!

Personally, I’d prefer someone who is pinpoint accurate with what he’s doing while taking all the time in the world rather than someone who is just getting the job done and working with quickness. Practice and smoothness of movement will produce speed in time. Experience will give you that speed! You’ve worked hard!

  17. Leo M on November 29, 2018 at 6:16 pm

Very good luck with whatever you have planned for the future, Robin. Now I know where I’ll be going for a haircut., for sure.

Yo james! I’m a barber myself! few tips i’ve got for you

    1. stay calm (this might take time but over experience you’ll hack it)
2.invest in good (cordless) clippers/scissors ((wahl/andis) and japaneese steel scissors)
    3. dont rush take your time
    4. constantly ask the client if theyre okay with the haircut every few mins
    5.focus on the details
    6. and just smile!
