Mouser Electronics Grant – Sensory Overload at Ben Barber Career & Technology Academy

Mouser Electronics Grant – Ben Barber Career & Technology Academy receives $4887.42 grant for Sensory Overload. Teachers Elise Buchorn, Robbin Hallford & Susan Patterson received a grant for $4887.42 from the Mansfield ISD Education Foundation. The grant funds will allow for the creation of STEM sensor kits. Data collection followed by an in-depth analysis increases critical thinking skills while bringing real world examples into the lab experience. Improved data collection technology scan heighten student’s interest for science concepts and allow more class time for student engagement in higher order thinking skills like analysis, synthesis, and evaluation because less class time will be spent on the actual data collection process.
