I was waiting for him to explain the difference with the taper lever when you move it up and down. But he never explained what it does.
So…. *Google* ~ The Taper Lever allows you to change the closeness of your cut between guide comb lengths, move the lever up for the Closest cut, and down for a longer cut. If your blades ever become jammed with hair, simply move the lever up and down several times. This action will help free the blades.

if the 0 guard open is the same as 1 guard closed, then wouldn’t .5 guard open be the same as 1 guard closed, 1 guard open same as 1.5 closed, 1.5 open same as 2 guard closed?
