  2. Serolf200 on February 23, 2021 at 9:41 pm

Thanks! But I think this line don’t come from the foil
Shaver, this line come from the edger trimmer, andis edger blade + 0 gap + make a guided line pressing the blade horizontal to the skin make a real hard line, make the trimmer guide line using the blade flat to the head. In addition please make a explanation about the different trimmer blades not all the blades are for the same use, I write this because I like your channel thanks!😁😁😁

As a student barber in the UK where bizarrely skin fades aren’t part of the curriculum even though they’re one of the most requested aspects of barbering these tutorials have been a great source of education

  4. 4everblue72 on February 23, 2021 at 9:43 pm

Does it matter what tools you use ie. which clippers and detailers or foil?

  11. Ryan Jones on February 23, 2021 at 9:50 pm

I never create that harsh of a line I just pull the skin and flick out with the shaver!

  12. polkadot on February 23, 2021 at 9:51 pm

Is it best to use the trimmer and this method together or just use this method with the shaver and skip the trimmer?

Great tip! I’ve been struggling with that line for a while now 🙏

  18. Kota Lz on February 23, 2021 at 9:55 pm

Do you think it would be better to go back and remove it once your at like a 1 1/2 guard or after the fade and detail it ?

  19. Charles Anthony on February 23, 2021 at 9:58 pm

Thanks man!!!! I’ve been struggling with that line of death forever 👏🏼

  22. HC houtx on February 23, 2021 at 10:05 pm

Thank you for this video! I just bought the a día shaver and struggled to remove the line. Definitely giving this a try. Quarantine life has me searching in YouTube to learn how to cut my own hair

  23. Olivia Reynolds on February 23, 2021 at 10:06 pm

Thank you so much for this video, I have a couple clients with very coarse hair and pale skin, that I use the foil shaver on and no matter what I do I cannot avoid creating this line and it takes me forever to remove it. if there’s any advice on how not to create a line like this in the first place, I’m here for it, but im happy im able to erase it easier now!

  24. Μιχαλης Μπελαδακης on February 23, 2021 at 10:07 pm

Or first use the shaver downwards with out pressing and flick it upwards makes it! A lot of people think that the shaver can’t fade but its wrong….

  25. Zain Merali on February 23, 2021 at 10:08 pm

If you make an initial guideline and you straight razor it without using the foils does it still create A difficult line to remove the trimmer?

  26. Louise Linton on February 23, 2021 at 10:09 pm

Cant wait to try this 🤟

  27. alex khoshaba on February 23, 2021 at 10:09 pm

This helped me so much man I even showed a handful of people at my barber school this technique and now they have no problem either prob the best way to do it is the stamp one ☝️

  34. Joell Anderson on February 23, 2021 at 10:15 pm

    Outstanding video work

  36. Gothic 3 The Age of War on February 23, 2021 at 10:16 pm

For me it worked only on the right side, on the left is impossible (it’s also more difficult to fade). I think I’ll never do a skin fade on me, my head doesn’t accept this haircut. I’m terribly sad tho

  37. Chef Singh on February 23, 2021 at 10:18 pm

    My fkin guy!

  38. SuperiorDuck 62 on February 23, 2021 at 10:21 pm

Bro spin the detailers around so that the bladse are facing away from you and flick upwards.. That’s how I get rid of it anayway

  39. R41 C2 on February 23, 2021 at 10:25 pm

    My nose hurts

  40. Cheng Fu Hang on February 23, 2021 at 10:26 pm

Do you need a trimmer in order to fade from where you use a foil shaver? Or is it mainly to soften the line created by the foil shaver?

  41. Alan Ramirez on February 23, 2021 at 10:26 pm

Bro I wanna cry. Thank you so much that line can be such a bitch sometimes 🙏🏼 thank you

  42. jimyk on February 23, 2021 at 10:27 pm

Also another method , using the edges of the shaver flick out diagonally.

  43. Brray Barber on February 23, 2021 at 10:27 pm

    Thanks!!!! Great tip

  44. Nick Mazer on February 23, 2021 at 10:29 pm

I noticed you went in with the babyliss foil and then used the Andis also . Do you think it helps to mix the tools up a bit ?, I like doing this too

  45. Indigo Kid on February 23, 2021 at 10:30 pm

It’s videos like this that can improve everyone’s skills! When I learnt a few years ago there was no one, or no video (that I saw) that explained this process!!! I had to learn the hard way! Great work!! Again!

  49. Ant Fazo on February 23, 2021 at 10:33 pm

I recently brought this foil shaver to stray away from using razors on my head all the time but it doesn’t work efficiently. After I buzz my head and try to remove the stubble with the shaver it constantly miss spots. Aside from that, some hair just won’t cut. Any tips? Thanks

  50. Mark Valladares on February 23, 2021 at 10:34 pm

Thank you so much for sharing! I really liked how you showed a close up view of you doing the technique and not just saying what to do. Thank you again!!
