When I was in beauty college this really old man used to come in and he wanted his toes nails painted red and a pedicure and his nails were kinda gnarly but he never wanted them cut just filed down and there was really nothing I could do because they were so thick but I’d at least get them down as much as possible but it was a once a week kindof thing and he’d always wanted me because I guess I didn’t seem weirded out by him like the other girls did and he really wasn’t weird I think maybe he’d come out of the closet later in life kindof thing because he told me he was in the air force when he’s been younger but he really liked talking to the other people getting their nails done he hardly spoke to me….however later on I had been talking about him with one of the instructors and they told me that they were afraid to warn me that he’s been difficult in the past he’s even been banned once because he had yelled at a student for doing something wrong but had let him back because he’d begged to be let back because that was the only place he felt accepted. He told me they were surprised because he would secretly complain to them about the girls doing his nails but he’d never complained about me … anyways that made me feel kindof good and that’s my kindof weird cosmetology story.
