I don’t know if you’ll see this, I hope you do, but do you have any advice for parents who aren’t supportive of this career path. Cosmetology is my dream, but my parents don’t support it and I’m having a hard time telling them I want to do it

I just kinda graduated without a graduation yet cuz corna, but Im honestly really set on being a Dental hygienist and they have that here where I live but I would also love to do cosmetology as a second job I just wouldn’t know when to start, but where where I’m at you can be one in less than a year I believe. hi i really hope you see this , but i’m very interested in cosmetology ! and since it’s only a 9 month program do u learn to color , cut , etc . after that do you get to take the state board exam?
do you also do your nails or do other people’s nails? or do you just do makeup

My wife wanted to be a cosmetologist. I showed her the average pay and convinced her to find a better career, she is pursuing a career in nursing.

I wouldn’t recommend the mario badescu spray, I’ve heard from skin care specialists that they have a bunch of alcohol in them which just dry out your skin.

Hello, How are you liking your career as a Hairstylist? I am really hoping to go cosmetology school for hairstyling and aesthetics someday. I’ve heard there are pros and cons to the job as there are with most jobs, I was wondering if the pros outweigh the cons in your experience working in the beauty industry?

Love this. I teach, but I hate not having income in the summer. Plan to go in order to keep myself busy when I’m not teaching. I know odd, but I hate not doing anything.
