   When you said it is a clay based lightener, I really think that it is very unhealthy for hairdressers. Why? Because it is powdered clay, and powdered clay is really bad to breath in. Natural yes, but it is stone, remember. And stone in lungs is really bad. Ceramists do use special gas mask when the work with powdered clay, just because it is so damaging for the lungs. Powdered clay will fly everywhere in the air. I would not whisk up powdered clay anywhere else than under a ventilator. Just saying. You can research yourself, and take a look at what ceramists do to protect themselves and why.
