I am wondering why every tutorial master have always perfect scenario assets with nice background and with 3 clicks job is done. I wish that’s in real life as well

  21. Django World Wide on December 24, 2020 at 10:26 pm

Mate to be honest, this tutorial is not as good as Pix’s. He added more steps to ensure good results not only on beautiful solid colored background with high contrast. I highly reccomand others to go to Pix’s channel to watch his in depth 40 min tutorial on masking hair using channels

  22. Tampa Works Handyman on December 24, 2020 at 10:28 pm

not good! clone stamp not the solution. its add more fringes. see at 9.33 & one more thing this worst uncompleted video

  28. István Kis on December 24, 2020 at 10:35 pm

Try it with a dificult background!

  29. Bogdan Zanescu on December 24, 2020 at 10:41 pm

you never clone hair on top to repair mistakes, NEVER. as you can see on the left side, the hair is pixelated.

  30. neng unnie on December 24, 2020 at 10:42 pm

Perfect! This is what I need to clean my paintings. Thank you.

  34. YAMADA on December 24, 2020 at 10:48 pm

This only really works when the background already has high contrast with the hair.

Easy to do with a opposite background. How about black hair on brown background?

  38. croplaya on December 24, 2020 at 10:50 pm

I never knew that clone stamp could do that at the end. Cool

I’m having trouble cutting hair out from one picture that I need, is there someone that could help me out?

  42. Maverick on December 24, 2020 at 10:54 pm

or you can just drop a mask, go to the refine or something option and select by color.
but what do you do when the hair is almost the same color as the background or mixed in between objects of different colors? this is the question XD

  43. Bertus de Leeuw on December 24, 2020 at 10:58 pm

Not working at all with a slightly off background.

I am working on an image. I need to use the pen tool to cut out the subject from the background first. Do you have a tutorial to do that step please
