๐Ÿ’ˆ History & Haircut with National Treasure Guardian Angel of Route 66 | Seligman AZ

Three years after our first Route 66 Wet Shave experience, HairCut Harry returns to Seligman, AZ to finally get a haircut and American history lesson from the Guardian of U.S. Route 66, Angel Delgadillo, who explains to us all the problems in this country and how we the people can continue to keep America a great place to be!

90-year old barber and founder of Historic Route 66 of Arizona, Angel Delgadillo, gives us all a lesson in life!!

Filmed at Angel and Vilmaโ€™s Route 66 Gift Shop and Barbershop located on historic Route 66 in Seligman, Arizona. Angel is a founder of the Historic Route 66 Association of Arizona, established in 1987 to campaign for “Historic Route 66” signage on the former US highway; similar initiatives have since been established in every U.S. Route 66 state.

Open 7-days a week, so stop by and say hello to Angel!!
Delgadillo’s Route 66 Gift Shop, 22265 Historic Rte 66, Seligman, AZ 86337.

His real knowledge isn’t just in his stories but in his memories that have taught him how to handle life. We need to cherish and respect the way our elderly think and feel of what transpired while walking through life. Life is a gift of Time to Feel.

  30. SoupBone _22 on November 18, 2020 at 9:28 pm

When Mr. Delgadillo is talking about his town getting bypassed. The exact same thing happened to Radiator Springs in Cars.

    Deja Vu

  44. Kristine Barbieri on November 18, 2020 at 9:43 pm

    He’s right.

  45. Robert Golden on November 18, 2020 at 9:43 pm

What an awesome guy. Heโ€™s been cutting hair his whole life. Heโ€™s met everyone. Talked about everything. Heโ€™s been a counselor, advisor, shrink. Heโ€™s help young boys, consoled old men with their losses, because thatโ€™s what Barbers do. Guys stay away from the mega haircutting chains. Support your local Barbers and they will support you. This man campaigned for Route 66 resurgence and got it done. This man is living history . He his a National treasure. Sir my hat is off to you for all youโ€™ve done. One of my bucket list, is to drive my 1984 Trans Am through Route 66. Great video guys.

  47. Daniel Lion on November 18, 2020 at 9:45 pm

This man barely missed ww2 as being too young, and barely missed the Korean War as too old.

  48. VM CC on November 18, 2020 at 9:45 pm

"It was hard to put beans on the table"
    This man is legit AF.
    Oldschool at its best.
He is a linving reminder about America should always be.

  49. Grizzly Country on November 18, 2020 at 9:48 pm

People like Angel are a wealth of knowledge, experience and advice. Especially when it comes to surviving when the good times end. It’s similar with my parents who are around the same age. Not to mention on how to live, socialize and raise families. If their knowledge is lost our society is lost.

  50. saxykyle on November 18, 2020 at 9:48 pm

It’s about three years later now. I hope you’re able to pop in again!
