Hello. I am interested in becoming a traveling braider and would love some insight on the financial end. Being that you do travel and there are travel expenses, how do you charge your client base in each location? How do you determine what to charge? Or do you even charge different rates when traveling?
How did you build your clientele?
I would love to see what your traveling kit looks like and how you pack it.
Can you do sleeping braids and set hair in rollers in the evening before bedtime ?
So where do you begin if you don’t have a husband who keeps a steady job while you’re in in out of work due to traveling and not having a steady clientele in new places? Is this a common thing? I want to be a hair stylist but I also love traveling so this sounds like an amazing way to live.
