What is the best cordless clipper you can buy? It’s that time of year again where we host our annual awards ‘The Zero Gapped Awards’ which is the culmination of a year of testing the majority of professional Barber clippers on the market plus gathering all the feedback from the hundreds of comments and messages we receive from the Rum Barber network. We try and create the most rounded viewpoint we can about each available clipper, to make an informed decision as to which one is the best in each category.

Amazon link you provided has some really poor reviews on the Wahl Pro Senior. I think the Babyliss FX clippers would be a better choice…in my opinion.

As a cordless senior owner the only complaint is it’s 70 minute life (and it’s a little loud but that’s fine)
Maaan. I was here to find recommendations to replace my cordless wahl seniors and you called them the best. They’re too loud for my liking, too light in comparison to the corded version that I loved for years (until the cord ripped in two pair), but they also cut too similar to the magic clips that feel cheap to me.

Hi Joseph. I don’t know if you guys at Rumbarber have noticed this but I have found out that not all wahl cam followers are made the same. I have this one cam follower that turns my Wahl magic clips into a BEAST, the blade moves faster and the clipper feels more powerful and cuts better. But if I put even a brand new one from wahl, the performance is nowhere near, it’s just a standard magic clips. Some cam followers can make the clipper loud as hell too.
Hi, can you please recommend me alternative to wahl balding clippers? I am afraid to buy those cause i read that it is easy to cut yourself with those. I only need one for self cut (I am not a barber). Looking for very short buzz/bald haircut. Thx!

Hey, buyed an Wahl Magic Clip cordless this week and im totaly disappointed with it. Its the new version with the golden lever dont know if there is a huge differnce with the old one. But how can you work a full day with this loud noise and vibration? Also mine reached 128 fahrenheit within 20 mins of runtime on the blades. Old heavy big ac plug, no indication light, no stand available, no possibility for storage (case, blister, bag or other). I will return my Magic Clip. Cant understand the hype of these clipper.

I need your help with your honest opinion on what fading clipper I should get.
I m a barber for about 2 years. I can fade good but not as good as you are fading.I m about to buy Wahl senior cordless or Magic clip cordless. Not a money issue at all. I just want a top barber like you, to tell me buy those. I ve seen so many videos and comparison and all that about weight about the cutting blades and all that.On how they look I like better the Senior. I would appreciate if you could help me with your thoughts. At the moment I have a cheap wahl for fading and my go 2 my best Panasonic gp80 black latest version.
