Do you ever start a fade with a 0.5 guide line and then gradually down fade to a 0 or do you always start with a 0 line first ?

Thank you so much for making this series Kieron. I’m a hairdresser who’s lost all my confidence doing men’s hair because of the exceptional quality of "nu-barber" work. I’m in awe of you guys. Teach me everything!! X
I hope you learn us everything because you are amazing barber i am watching you from Iraq ππ

Ive always been interested in barbering and since my dad has copd he cant get around much. COPD is a chronic lung condition in which the lungs cannot be used to full capacity meaning he cant walk very far without being breathless and it worries him so he cant really keep his appearance as well as he used to before he got his condition. You’re probably wondering what this has to do with barbering but the very first memories i can remember were my dad taking me to get my haircut it will always stick with me we sat in the chairs and got our shiz looking neat af. And he’s lost the privilege of having a really clean well cut haircut because we have to cut his hair. I just think this would be a really good career to get into because most men and women have hair and at some point its going to need to be cut and styled. I feel like with barbering you’re giving a hell of a lot back to people even though it may not seem like much i know but getting a really good cut will leave you feeling fly as hell. And that’s what i want for my dad. I hope you can give some sort of tutorials on traditional maybe 3 on the sides and comb back hairstyles because thats what he used to get before.
You probably wont read this but it would mean the world to me if you could possibly get round to doing a tutorial. Thankyou π

Hey Kieron. Thanks so much for this series. Been thinking about barbering on the side for a while now. Bought the Andis Master and T-Outliner and wanting to get started. I have always been fascinated with barbering and want to give it a try to see if it can earn me some extra income. Going to see if my 16 year old son will let me practice my first fade on him.
