    Been a barber for about 40 years now. My advice for barbers just starting out. Have another source of income. If your married and your other half works that’s perfect, if not a second job part time, pension from the military, rental property etc. A second job helps because you need health insurance and have extra money taken out for taxes. watch your money closely, you make 500 this week but only 200 next week it can hurt. plus remember taxes must be paid, the irs always audits the self employed.
