“A teacher of mine handed down videos to me in beauty school. The knowledge I had gained for free was amazing! The many artists and teachings in those videos inspired me to further my career and become an educator” says Beck.
Now, almost ten years later, Matt has launched GratitudeEducation.com and Freesaloneducation.com. Two sites dedicated to providing the highest quality step by step education on a weekly basis for anyone who wants to log in, be inspired, and learn! Stylists can expect education on cutting, coloring, styling, barbering, and business tips. You can also look forward to totally free educational videos sent by email and live web classes broadcast from in the salon. Highly doubt that would be safe or even possible with my double swivel shears… and I’ve used swivel shears for so long I feel very restrained and uncomfortable using non-swivels. But that looks really cool… and I’m sure he knows it is a tang but was at a loss for the correct term at the moment…
Danke schön

Love the educational part, hate that the music is so loud
i feel like his scissors are going to hit someone’s head if he flicks them like that

All the extra wrist flicking smells of repetitive stress injury to me.
I need to practice that technique with the pinkie grab. It does seem more efficient! 👌🏻

Amazing style
Just a note: it should not be too tight. Too much tension so your thumb needs to do more work to move the blade. If there’s not enough tension, the hair won’t be cleanly cut. There is a medium…

Hi! Are these Kasho XP 5,8 shears?! Honestly, i know you love Mizutani and i even purchased one from FSE, were these good enough?! Greetings from Sweden!
This is video is refreshing… Sometimes in my own way of being creative it is simply essential to be able to refer to fundamental information of haircutting that allows a person to complete a desired hair cut with proper understanding of your tools and how the will be of assistance… Thank you Mr Matt… You were very thorough in your presentation.. Great job.
Do a video close up to your hand so that what you tech in detail and do it slowly. you need to learn from from other utube instruction video.
