Lmao… this is not how you treat that type of hair haha. With that type of hair, you need to cut as high as possible or as low as possible with the side and the back. Anything beside that, your client’s head will look like a ball, like that one in the video 🤣

That hair was so hard to cut.. there’s so many hair like this in Asia. When you cut it too short at the top, it will hard to styling. That was the best result I think.

Why does he do a horseshoe section if he is going to connect the sides to the top horizontally? Literally waste of time if you are going to connect it anyways.
Why does he not just do block layering or cross graduation instead of trying to wing it with clipper over comb (which didnt work, have a hard time believing that it was even on both sides, honestly just high guarding it with a guard wouldve worked better).
Why did he cut the top like that, again winging it with no guides. Just made his hair very uneven and unbalanced.
Why is he holding his scissors upside down and twisting his wrist in that unnatural position when he is connecting the sides to the top, honestly that was just bizzare (and most likely very straining on your wrist).
Why does he use clipper over comb to set a shape, clipper over comb like scissor over comb is a technique used to REFINE.
And if he wants to retain weight, why flick the fade, flicking will just remove the shape you are trying to preserve.
A slick back in MY opinion should be cut square shaped, disconnected on the side but connected vertically on the back. The weight on the side should be cross graduated to give it weight to lay backwards but still have weight to support the disconnected top sides.
The fade should be done AFTER youve set your canvas/bulk/shape so you are able to see where to set the bald line so you can stretch the fade and make sure its nice and blended.
Im 99% sure there are people here that had these very same questions but still all i see is people complaining about how the fade isnt blurry enough, thats literally the least important issue of this cut, dare i say that the best part of this cut IS the fade because the rest is just 🤦
