    I think short hair is the new wave, medium to longer pushed back and comb overs style was in but now I this shorter on top with a fade is the new one

    I used to have my hair always short with a number 2 shape up all over now that I’m older how the tables have turned I now have thin hair and can now see through the whole scalp and now I have a bigger forehead is there any buzz cut recommendations for me that I still will have hair when I buzz it down and not see through my entire scalp

    You should try it on yourself. The buzzcut doesn’t have the same effect on a mannequin.

    Buzz Cut length will mostly depend on your skull shape and usually the two biggest factors are does your skull naturally form an oval or does it lay flat with odd indentations. The better the skull shape the lower the buzz length you can go since your skull is already symmetrical. Other things like how much your optical bone sticks outs on the back. For example I can’t go below a #5 up top because my skull lays flat and isn’t shaped correctly. Basically hair has to fill in that gap to create symmetry.

    This was an excellent demonstration. I think in general buzz cuts longer than a #2 look "shaggy." My preference for a clean, fresh look is a #1 or 1.5.
