    So many questions answered. I was ignorant regarding clippers. I am much more informed. Will rewatch with my puppy book to record info. Puppy will be home in a couple of weeks. No grooming products yet except a brush. Maggie is a cairn terrier/poodle cross

    The reason the Petsmart has high quality clippers is that their target market is their own salon groomers (convenience for them) and the pet owners who ask the groomers for recommendations. It is a super expensive option!

    I thought your information was excellent. I just bought the one you recommended. I was wondering if you could give me the brand and name of a smaller clipper that is groomer quality also. Sometimes it is just nice to have a small one to clip by the eye or in other places. My small Wahl has about an inch blade (9307A model). The other one is a Wahl Sterling bullet (Model 8689) with an inch and a quarter blade, and corded. Neither are worth a darn. Thank you so much for sharing all of your knowledge.

    thankx for some of your tips. I have an older Wahl just now and I definetly have been looking at what to get. I’m new at grooming but I think that I can do a decent job. I’m nervous about the best was to to do a tight groom on the feet. Is it mainly just to slow down . Any how thankx for a lot of good ideas. The detachable blade strikes me as probably the most important feature

    I used to use Amazon however I found out that Groomers Mall ( that’s also online) is less than 15 miles from me. I shop with them for everything. I live in Richmond,Va

    I just got a yorkinese pup and it’s the first time I’ve ever had a dog that needed regular grooming, especially on her grinch feet. I’m currently waiting for her to get her final set of shots and her rabies shot so I can take her to the groomer, but I want to learn how to do her paws and face at home so I can extend the life of her regular groom. I’ve had her for 2 months and have just been trimming her paws and in between her pads with the safety grooming sheers (the one with the round ball edge on one side), but I have to put her in her front facing backpack and strap her to my husband for her to even let me trim her nails. Until I looked it up, I didn’t even know there was a difference between human and dog clippers and I’m so glad there are resources like you online. I shave my own head every 2-3 weeks and have an amazing wahl clipper set for myself and I thought I could just use that on her. Boy was I wrong and I’m so glad I looked it up (and found your video). Will definitely be purchasing one of the 5 in 1 cordless clippers since I only need it for her paws and face.

    Thanks for your great video on the best clippers! As you suggested, I went on line to find the best price for the Wahl KM10. It was over 400.00 on Amazon, 279.00 on chewy and a whooping 199.00 on a site I never heard of. Lovegroomers.com. I ordered them there so let’s hope they come as promised! The website was contrary to use but

    Im still trying to determine a decent clipper choice. I know that you gave an honest pick as the Wahl km10 for a professional groomer. You also mention the Andis agc pro. I believe that the Andis agc is definetly a DETACHABLE blade. I do understand why you like the Wahl KM10, but it is a bit more expensive. I’m only clipping my two Bedlingtons so is it still a good option for me to do the Andis AGC Pro. I like the plan of getting the seperate blades and a Guard set.
