I’d say it wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it would be but it definitely took me waaaay longer (about 2 hours). Congrats on taking the first step of cutting your hair on your own. Good job! I have ordered the same device as yours and will make my first attempt soon. For myself, it should not be so difficult as i have thinner, shorter hair than you which will not require much styling. But looking forward to trying this out for the first time in my life.

for side ear cut there is a different blade, which is slightly rotated use that
You know this is really funny because when I started out cutting my own hair over 17 years ago I just had a beard, and mustache trimmer from Philips. It wasnโt a clipper., then, I went and used my electric razor because the trimmer broke. I had that thing for a long time. It went through a lot. Then, I used the electric razor. That pulled like hell. Then I went out and got the clippers. Well, now, I own several hair clippers plus a couple of trimmers. Now, I can cut my hair with ease. It is so much faster, and easier with the clippers. If all you have is a beard trimmer you can do it but it takes so much more time. The blade is not wide like on the clippers. The guards are a lot narrower. Because the trimmer is ment for beards and your face not the head, but if that is what you have than you use it lol!!! Well, when I started cutting my hair, that is all I had. I didnโt have the clippers back then. Now, I have a few wonderful clippers. I have a trimmer from Panasonic which is not a clipper but it can bee converted into a clipper. It is more of a trimmer. It is super nice to use and yes. The blade is wide like a clipper. Unfortunately the first trimmer that i had from Philipโs broke years ago. I wish I would have just kept that one for my memory of my first ever self hair cut. Lol!!! Before those times though, I did go to the barber.

0:51 what are those left and and right guards used for and how to use them? I have got them with my multi groom series 5000 but not quite sure how to use them? I was able to do pretty much everything without them.
