Use scissors to cut long hair on top after fading hair on the side using clippers. 6 minutes and you’ll have all the tips you need!
See steps below:
Step 1: Guard #1 closed (bottom of the fade)
Step 2: Guard #3 closed (to make the “middle band of hair”)
Step 3: Guard #2 closed (to fade between guard #1 and guard #3)
Step 4: Guard #1 opened (to fade between #1 closed and #2 closed)
Step 5: Shape up / Edge up
Step 6: Use scissors to blend guard #3 into hair on top of head
Step 7: Use scissors to trim hair on top of head

I see that you do a lot of shorter fades, but I was wondering if you could make a video using your normal fading technique, but starting with a 2 or 3 blade, fading up to a 5 or 6. Thanks!

nice fade But..when doing your scissor ôver comb try going straight up and not curving the comb into the top of the head..establish a guide when you start your top…also scissors are to long….just saying

I have 1 question how do you make your clippers sharper I do self cuts on myself and I’ve tried 0 gap then I tried to do the shape up fade-in for me is fine it’s just the shape up lining myself up I actually ended up cutting myself even 0 gap on a wahl super taper wasn’t sharp enough in a way how do you make the clippers sharp so they don’t cut you but cut your line up crisp ?
