Really enjoyed this. You just EXPLAIN and demonstrate really well, without the huge cocky ego I see on a lot of barbers on YouTube. Thankyou for being normal, helpful, and a very skilled barber

Excellent tutorial. I have been asked to help out in a barbershop for two weeks, having done mainly ladies for 30 years and although I can use a pair of clippers (or thought I could) this has helped me massively.

You can go easily from 1 to 2 with Andis. With Wahl yes, you need that special 1 1/2 attachment comb.

Good stuff man. I’ve worked in computer software for 20 years now, and have always wanted to learn how to cut hair. Can you recommend any good online training? Or should I get most everything from your channel? Thanks

  31. SouthrnGirl92 on November 29, 2018 at 6:01 pm

thank you so much for your tutorial videos! i have had zero training whatsoever, but I’ve always cut my own hair and wanted to try my hand at mens hair. my husband consented to being my guinea pig and thanks to your vids, it turned out great!

  35. lanes58 on November 29, 2018 at 6:08 pm

A well trained professional barber doesn’t use clipper guards. You can do that yourself at home. If a barber asks you what number guard you like… leave.

  36. Wilson on November 29, 2018 at 6:12 pm

I prefer traditional clipper with no electronics. More ASMR trigger you see 😉
