    as per my experience 24 inch long hair, clamp holder, comb, scissor & tool, synthetic hair

    Covid-19 and my clippers are broken. I scour the internet for a replacement and the Wahl clippers are out-of-stock everywhere, because of Covid. I finally order a set of EBay and they’ll arrive in two days. Preemptively I’m on YouTube learning some barber skills so me and my two kids (boys) don’t have to look like cave people anymore.

    How do you decide where to put the guide in when blending the top into the sides? I’ve managed to shave the side of my head ok, but having issues blending it in?

    note: hair texture makes a big difference. hubby has curly, funky hair. BUT the tutorial of how to use the guards and graduate starting from 4 down – huge help! πŸ™‚

    This looks good. I have thick hair on the sides and always wondered how you fade side to top. Could I ask as you go up with clipper to comb do you gradually take the comb away from the head so your cutting less as you go up?

    By faaaar the best intro. Don’t start of with a really short skin fade, really good tip (made that mistake). I watched a lot of these video’s and ended up making an a6 highlight note with the main tips from this video. Worked like a charm. Thanks a lot!!
